memorial fundsEstablish a donor advised fund or field of interest fund in the name of a beloved deceased family member or friend. Establishing a memorial fund is a meaningful and benevolent way to create lasting memories.

Establishing a charitable fund dedicated to support of the cause that a family member or friend cared about is a wonderful way to leave a lasting legacy for that friend.

  • Minimum to open a memorial fund: $10,000

  • Gifts to the memorial fund are eligible for the maximum charitable tax deductions allowed by federal law.

  • You may contribute to the fund and recommend grants whenever you wish, with SDHDF handling all investment and administrative details.
